Who We Coach

You need to be ready to commit.

You don’t need to be fast.

Whether you're running your first 5K or chasing a Boston qualifier, JustJogging builds a plan around you—not the other way around.

The New Runner

No background. Big goal. You know you want to start running, you just need a system and someone to trust.

The Competitive
Age-Grouper

You've been running. Now you want real structure, race-specific prep, and a coach who takes your goals as seriously as you do.

The Time Chaser

BQ. Qualifying marks. OTQ. You have a number. We build everything from training, taper, race day, around hitting it.

The Faith-Led Athlete

You want coaching that doesn't compartmentalize your faith from your sport. You run with purpose beyond the finish line.

Why JJ is different

"We train the whole person.
Body, mind, and spirit."

Faith isn't a footnote here. It's built into every plan, every check-in, and every race debrief. Because endurance is not a gift given to a few, it's a superpower dormant in everyone.

Jessica Rabius walking down the home stretch before a NCAA National Track meet where she went on to place 3rd in NCAA West Prelims. The next day she went on to qualify for her first NCAA National Semi Finals track meet by getting Q in the 800 meters.

Jessica Rabius

Jessica doesn't just understand elite running, she's lived it. A 3x NCAA National Qualifier, All-American, and Houston Half Marathon Champion, she brings a decade of national-caliber competition to every athlete she coaches. But what sets her apart isn't the resume. It's that she's been the athlete grinding through the hard workouts at 5am wondering if it's worth it, and she knows it is.

Her coaching centers on the mental side of racing: pacing strategy, confidence, and learning to push through the moments that feel impossible until they're not. Her faith is the thread running through all of it. Romans 8:18, "what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory that's coming" . This is how she sees every hard training day. The suffering isn't the story. It's what's building toward something greater.

Justice Artisst racing the half marathon through New York City, cross the Hard Rock Cafe is located right in the middle of Times Square. Justice goes on to run his second fastest 13.1 ever in the Big Apple.

Justice Artisst

Justice brings a rare combination to the coaching staff with a decade of competitive track and cross country experience, a Master's in Kinesiology, and hands-on coaching from D1 collegiate athletes all the way down to first-time runners. A 2x conference podium finisher and 7x All-Conference honoree specializing in the mile through half marathon, he knows what it takes to compete at a high level and how to build an athlete from the ground up.

His coaching philosophy is simple: no athlete gets left behind, and no ceiling gets accepted. He's been the runner who shied away from discomfort, and the one who finally pushed through the other side. That experience makes him empathetic and demanding at the same time. Hebrews 12:11 grounds his approach, “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”

Travis Jacobs sprinting down the home stretch at University of Houston where he brought the Houston Christian University Huskies to their fastest Distance Medley Relay in school history!

Travis Jacobs

Travis knows first hand what a great coach can do for a person, not just as an athlete, but as a human being. With coaching experience spanning cross country & track and field at the collegiate level and track and field at the junior high level, Travis brings structure, intensity, and genuine investment to every athlete he works with. He also brings over a decade of experience competing in track and cross country from the AAU to NCAA D1 level, as well as being a 4x Conference podium finisher.

His coaching centers on short-to-mid distance development with a heavy emphasis on mental visualization and aerobic strength. His faith isn't separate from his coaching. It shows up in how he leads, how he challenges athletes, and how he pushes them to become more than just faster runners.
