The Origin Story
Justice was deep in self-coaching through summer and winter breaks, studying running training, absorbing the science of distance running, reading everything he could on the physiological demands of endurance sport. He had a kinesiology degree and an athlete's instinct, and was building detailed training plans for himself, for his brother's unattached season, and for a complete beginner starting from zero.
Somewhere in the middle of all that complexity, the threshold intervals, the data tracking, the lactate testing, and the phase structures he had a simpler thought. Running doesn't have to be this complicated. At the end of the day, it's Just Jogging.
That's where the name came from. Not from a marketing meeting. From a moment of honesty about what the sport actually is and who it's actually for.
Justice brought the idea to Travis and Jessica in the summer of 2025. Three NCAA athletes. Three Bachelor Kinesiology degrees. Three Masters Kinesiology Degrees. Three people who had run varsity in high school, competed at state, gone to AAU / USATF nationals, and taken their talents to Division I competition. Three people who had each felt the weight of a great coach, and the absence of one.
The pitch wasn't complicated: let's build what we wish we'd had.
We took our time. Spent months ironing out the framework, the tiers, the philosophy, the details that most people skip. We weren't in a rush to launch something average. We wanted to build something that would last, a brand rooted in faith, built on science, and committed to the whole athlete.
Because the goal was never just to coach faster runners. It was better our people. To coach athletes who develop habits that outlast the race. Who learn to push past limits they were afraid to even name. Who discover that what they're capable of is bigger than what they let themselves believe.
Our Mission
Just Jogging exists to unlock what every human being was already built for. We train the whole person. The body, mind, and spirit, because endurance is not a gift given to a few. It is a superpower dormant in everyone, waiting for the right system, the right coach, and the right reason to run.
Faith is not a footnote at Just Jogging. It's the foundation. Every hard workout, every early morning, every moment you want to quit , we believe those are invitations to grow into something more than an athlete.
Romans 8:18 "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us." That's not just a verse on a wall. It's the philosophy behind every training block we build.
Christ is our cornerstone. We train with gratitude, compete with humility, and endure with strength not our own.
